Poetry in the Park (PIP) is a summer reading series featuring established BC writers along with an open mic for optional audience participation. PIP encourages writers of all colours, shapes and sizes to share their work on stage—poetry, spoken word, short stories, and/or music. Each open mic should be between 5 – 8 minutes (3 poems). PIP is an LGTBQ+2 and BIPOC inclusive program.
The program will take place on: Every Saturday July 10th – Aug. 21st
Time: 3 PM – 4:30 PM
Space: The Massey Theatre Lawn (Under the Big Tree). If possible bring a chair, umbrella and sunscreen.

Poetry in the Park is organized and run through the Royal Literary Arts Society (RCLAS) in partnership with the Arts Council of New Westminster, the City of New Westminster and Massey Theatre.
